Delete account
Deleting your account
You can delete your account whenever you want, without asking anyone. The option lives inside the app; you do not need to request it from us.
From the app
- Open YazBunu and go to the Settings tab.
- Open the Account section.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Read what will be erased and confirm. You are asked to verify your identity for safety.
- After confirmation your account and cloud data are permanently deleted and you are signed out.
What happens then
- Erased: your account, the encrypted note backup in the cloud, usage data tied to your subscription record and any feedback you sent.
- Kept on your device: the notes and audio files on your phone. They are yours; remove them by deleting the app or the notes individually.
- Audio from meeting, car and watch recordings is already deleted from the server within 24 hours of transcription. It does not wait for account deletion.
Your subscription is separate
Subscriptions run through Apple, so deleting the account does not cancel one. Cancel it here: on iPhone open Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → YazBunu → Cancel Subscription.
If you cannot open the app
Lost your phone or cannot get into the app? Write to us from the email address on the account; we verify the request and delete it for you.
