Privacy

Where does your voice go?

Recordings are written to your phone first, always. With no connection they simply wait.

For daily and work notes, speech is turned into text by Apple’s speech recognition. For meeting, car and watch recordings the audio is uploaded to our server and transcribed in the EU region; once the text is ready it is deleted within 24 hours at the latest.

Only text is sent for summaries and task extraction, and only with your explicit consent. No voiceprint is created and your recordings are not used to train models.

Cloud backup is entirely up to you. Turn it on and notes are encrypted on your device; the server cannot read them. Audio files never go into the backup. With it off, your notes stay on your phone only.
